Advanced Compassion - Web site that contains information on more advanced aspects of compassion, including the "sacred" qualities .  More information on radiant compassion is located here.

A website solely dedicated to compassion information. Thousands of document pages and links, new research, and the site is updated monthly. Increase your compassion power to facilitate change.  Use this site to develop a strong voice for compassion. All material is referenced with links and where possible with author and date of publication to aid referencing the material in other documents.  Give compassion a strong voice, apply the information and then pass it on.  Tell others about the Compassion Space.

Launched in May, 2007 this site is a free public service, with the goal of developing a comprehensive compassion database and moving toward a culture of compassion through better research and teaching.

Many different views about compassion are presented on this website.  Most agree that compassion is relational, we need more of it in our society and that it should be held "sacred" (which is not the same as being religious).  Helping others move out of suffering and into well being has, within many cultures, been held with a high degree of respect, reverence, and honor.  Preliminary survey results show that  there is a broad range of phenomena included within the term compassion (see theory paper below).
